Calgary, AB – Mike Tanton* scored four goals and added an assist as the IceHogs extended its winning streak to four games with a 11-4 spanking over the Westside Wranglers at Frank McCool on Friday.

Adding markers for the IceHogs was Justin Morgan* with a hat-trick, Shawn Zeniuk* and Kevin Free*, Rhett Gerrard* and Blaine Dobinson* each with single strikes. Free* and Zeniuk* each added three assists, Gerrard*, Brent Gosselin, Derrick Moore*, Tyler Yachyshen* and Bill Stait* each added two assists. Goaltender Wes Raabis picked up the victory for the IceHogs giving up 0 goals.

Providing the offence for the Westside Wranglers was Lucas Gill* with two goals and Shawn Parkinson and Jeff Davies with a goal each. Goaltender Ken Ritson surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Westside Wranglers.

The setback halted the Westside Wranglers' four-game winning streak.

With the victory, the IceHogs improve to 16-5-3-0 while the Westside Wranglers fall to 11-11-2-0.
