Casey nets hat-trick, Met�s pound Predators
Calgary, AB – Pete Casey scored a hat-trick and added an assist as the Met�s extended its winning streak to seven games with a 11-7 pounding over the Predators at Frank McCool on Tuesday.
Adding markers for the Met�s was Mark Lyle with a hat-trick, Jason Lebbert and Scott Cote, Scott Mckenzie, Mike Gillis and Tom Park each with single strikes. Lebbert added six assists, Al Mowbray added three assists, Mckenzie, Cote, Chris Daskas, Bill Melville and Scott Fargey each added two assists. Goaltender Mark Sevo picked up the victory for the Met�s giving up 0 goals.
Scoring for the Predators was Greg Rieben and Lance Nixon with a pair of goals each, Greg Taylor, Carlo Nicastro and Mark Kondrat each adding single goals. Taylor added three assists, Nicastro, Mark Rosenberger, Chad Taylor and Keith Taylor each added two assists. Goaltender Paul Chatten surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Predators.
With the victory, the Met�s improve to 10-3-3-0 while the Predators fall to 8-4-4-0.
