Calgary, AB – Jon Steranko scored a hat-trick and added three assists to help support the BDR Angers in an 11-4 spanking over the Anchor Concrete Bobcats at Stew Hendry on Thursday.

Adding markers for the BDR Angers was Marty Holzinger and Bret Kimpton with a pair of goals each and Jason McDonald, Jeff Patrick, Stuart Albion and Ryan Paulgaard each contributing with single markers. Holzinger, McDonald, Patrick and Craig Lowes each added two assists. Goaltender Marcello Leonardis picked up the victory for the BDR Angers giving up 0 goals.

Providing the offence for the Anchor Concrete Bobcats was Darrin Markwart with two goals and Dave Brown and Jeff Gerat with a goal each. Rob Bogue added two assists. Goaltender Jaret Burgoyne surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Anchor Concrete Bobcats.

With the victory, the BDR Angers improve to 1-0-1-0 while the Anchor Concrete Bobcats fall to 1-1-0-0.
