Calgary, AB – Lyden Dyck* scored four goals and added an assist to help fuel the Pirates to a 9-3 pounding over the FLQ at Southland on Monday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Pirates was Scott McCallion with two goals, Tim Cross and Ryan Hollis* and Matt Dyck* with a goal each. Cross added three assists and Scott Atkinson* added two assists. Goaltender Rick Windl* picked up the win for the Pirates giving up three goals.

Striking for the FLQ was Tony Lucas*, Chris Mele* and Oliver Fisher* chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Dean Dunsby* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the FLQ.

With the win, the Pirates improve to 2-2-1-0 while the FLQ fall to 2-2-1-0.
