Calgary, AB – Aaron Yamniuk* scored two goals and added three assists to lift the Mocoat Thunder to an 11-1 clobbering over the Schooners at Stew Hendry on Monday.

Capping off the scoring for the Mocoat Thunder was Tim Arnett* and Greg Varga* and Shayne Butcher* with a pair of goals each, Chris Gibson*, Darryl Martin* and Dave Morris* each adding single tallies. Yamniuk* added three assists, Varga*, Arnett*, Todd Bigelow* and Dale Martin* each added two assists. Goaltender Leo Thoms* picked up the win for the Mocoat Thunder holding the Schooners to a single goal.

Tallying the lone goal for the Schooners was and Stephen Duncan, his first of the season. Goaltender Darwen Beazer surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Schooners.

With the win, the Mocoat Thunder improve to 2-0-0-0 while the Schooners fall to 1-1-0-0.
