Calgary, AB – Greg Varga scored two goals and added an assist to guide the Thunder to a 6-2 throttling over the Old Time Flyers at Village Square on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Thunder was Chris Gibson with two goals and Todd Bigelow and Dave Morris contributing with a goal each. Brad Haley added three assists, Mark Komisar and Tim Arnett each added two assists. Goaltender Leo Thoms picked up the win for the Thunder giving up two goals.

Cashing in for the Old Time Flyers was Frank Lyall and Terry Schneider each adding single tallies. Goaltender Alan Mountain surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Old Time Flyers.

With the win, the Thunder improve to 11-3-1-0 while the Old Time Flyers fall to 4-9-1-0.
