Calgary, AB – Scott Sharp scored four goals to lead the Chevron to a 6-3 triumph over the Hopewell Hurricanes at George Blundun on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Chevron was Jarrod Beztiling and Jason Graham chipping in with singles. Beztiling and Kevin Sinnott each added three assists and Graham added two assists. Goaltender John Scott picked up the victory for the Chevron giving up 0 goals.

Finding the twine for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Martin Carter, Lane Tamagi and Brent Snyder chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Mark Flath surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Hopewell Hurricanes.

Sharp added an empty-netter with 0:21 left in the third period to seal the win for the Chevron.

With the victory, the Chevron improve to 6-7-2-0 while the Hopewell Hurricanes fall to 7-8-0-0.
