Calgary, AB – Patrick Shippitt scored a goal and added two assists to help lift the Warthogs to a 5-3 victory over the Thunder at Norma Bush on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Warthogs was Jared Vaness, Nick Hryhor*, Blair Whitford*, Lauren Davis* each with single strikes. Vaness. Goaltender Mike Nyhus* picked up the victory for the Warthogs giving up 0 goals.

Scoring for the Thunder was Aaron Yamniuk*, Chris Gibson* and Darryl Martin* each adding single goals. Goaltender Leo Thoms* surrendered five goals in the loss for the Thunder.

With the victory, the Warthogs improve to 15-13-4-0 while the Thunder fall to 9-20-3-0.
