Calgary, AB – Cory Seaman scored two goals including his third goal of the season with 0:32 remaining in the third period and to help support the Sofa Kings in a 5-4 victory over the Icemen at Stew Hendry on Friday.

Adding markers for the Sofa Kings was Darrin Andrews and James Kenny and Kevin Sawyer each contributing with single markers. Patrick Schultz added two assists. Goaltender Blair Myers picked up the victory for the Sofa Kings giving up 0 goals.

Providing the offence for the Icemen was Danny Hicke, Gord MacLean, Darcy Frey and Garnet Horne with a goal each. Todd Stauffer added two assists. Goaltender Travis Copp surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Icemen.

With the victory, the Sofa Kings improve to 2-0-0-0 while the Icemen fall to 0-1-1-0.
