Calgary, AB – TJ Mikuska* scored two goals including his 18th goal of the season with 0:55 remaining in the first period and to lead the Chevron to a 4-3 triumph over the Hopewell Hurricanes at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Chevron was Rick Cooke* and Rick Stelmachuk* chipping in with a goal each. Tim Begalke* and Scott Sharp* each added two assists. Goaltender Darrell Gall* picked up the victory for the Chevron giving up 0 goals.

Finding the twine for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Jeff Snyder* with two goals and Martin Carter* with a single tally. Ross Keily* added two assists. Goaltender Mark Flath* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Hopewell Hurricanes.

With the victory, the Chevron improve to 13-14-4-0 while the Hopewell Hurricanes fall to 13-15-3-0.
