Calgary, AB – Lane Montgomery* scored a hat-trick and added three assists as the Vista Rangers extended their winning streak to three games with a 7-5 victory over the Thunder at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Vista Rangers was Rob Leach* and Kyle Calmusky*, Ryan Paulgaard* and Neil Kitching* with a goal each. Montgomery* added three assists, Leach* and Mike Hanson* each added two assists. Goaltender Clark Damer* picked up the victory for the Vista Rangers giving up 0 goals.

Providing the offence for the Thunder was Darryl Martin*, Aaron Yamniuk*, Tim Arnett*, Gary Bianchini* and Brad Haley* each contributing with single markers. Martin* added two assists. Goaltender Leo Thoms* surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Thunder.

With the victory, the Vista Rangers improve to 6-25-0-0 while the Thunder fall to 9-19-3-0.
