Calgary, AB – Mike Kruchten* scored a hat-trick and added six assists to help fuel the Panthers to a 13-3 pounding over the Mustangs at George Blundun on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Panthers was Mike Tucker* with a hat-trick, Ying Yuen* with two goals, Jason MacKenzie* and Casey Wheatley*, Chad Polski, Trevor Mitchell* and Dean Setoguchi* with a goal each. Kruchten* added six assists, Mike Leslie* and Rick Dziadyk* each added four assists, Tucker*, Polski, MacKenzie* and Wheatley* each added two assists. Goaltender Greg Fitzpatrick* picked up the win for the Panthers giving up 0 goals.

Striking for the Mustangs was Mike McHenry* with two goals and Brent Phelps* with a single marker. Phelps* and Garrett Goodbrand* each added two assists. Goaltender Mark Roseneder surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Mustangs.

With the win, the Panthers improve to 17-9-5-0 while the Mustangs fall to 13-13-5-0.
