Calgary, AB – Travis Rudy* scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help secure the Sofa Kings a victory in a 9-4 trouncing over the BDR Angers at Village Square on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Sofa Kings was Yannick Coulombe* with a hat-trick, Rob Johnston* and Chris Marcotte* and Shane Harvey* each contributing with single markers. Jesse Louden* added four assists, Jason Manderson* and Shane Foster* each added three assists, Jeremy Leece* and Kyle McKay* each added two assists. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm* picked up the victory for the Sofa Kings giving up four goals.

Finding the back of the net for the BDR Angers was Bryan Wright* with a hat-trick and Luc Maillet* with a single tally. Todd Esler * added three assists and Eric Bouloy added two assists. Goaltender Phil Meloche* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the BDR Angers.

With the victory, the Sofa Kings improve to 17-10-4-0 while the BDR Angers fall to 8-20-3-0.
