Dobinson* nets hat-trick, Icehogs romp Chiefs
Calgary, AB – Blaine Dobinson* scored a hat-trick as the Icehogs extended its winning streak to four games with a 7-2 throttling over the Chiefs at Optimist on Saturday.
Rounding out the scoring for the Icehogs was Mike Tanton* with two goals, Scott Lindsay* and Scott Kearns* each adding single tallies. Derrick Moore* added four assists, Tyler Yachyshen* and Kevin Free* each added two assists. Goaltender Jody Stevens* picked up the win for the Icehogs giving up two goals.
Cashing in for the Chiefs was Bruce Gilles and Terry Gulewsch chipping in with a goal each. Mike Robichaurd added two assists. Goaltender Blaine MacKeil (*) surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Chiefs.
With the win, the Icehogs improve to 21-4-4-0 while the Chiefs fall to 7-17-6-0.
