Calgary, AB – Tom Podivinsky* scored a goal and added two assists to spark the Divestco Knights to a 7-5 win over the Hopewell Hurricanes at Frank McCool on Friday.

Also scoring for the Divestco Knights was Charlie Goodwin, Rob Anderson*, Derek Boeckx*, Howard Brekke*, Jason Nycz*, Justin Humenjuk* each adding single goals. Podivinsky*, Goodwin and Neil Groeneveld* each added two assists. Goaltender Mark Watson* picked up the win for the Divestco Knights giving up five goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Brent McClocklin* with two goals and Darryl Arnason*, Doug Pickell* and Ross McNaughton* each adding a goal. Arnason* and Andy Keats* each added two assists. Goaltender Mark Flath* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Hopewell Hurricanes.

With the win, the Divestco Knights improve to 10-9-10-0 while the Hopewell Hurricanes fall to 13-13-3-0.
