Calgary, AB – Kevin Free* scored a goal and added an assist to help support the Icehogs in a 5-2 victory over the Rustlers at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Icehogs was Todd McAleese*, Blaine Dobinson*, Dave White*, Rhett Gerrard* with a goal each. Scott Kearns* added three assists. Goaltender Jody Stevens* picked up the victory for the Icehogs giving up two goals.

Providing the offence for the Rustlers was Nick Darling* and Brett Watts* each contributing with single markers. Goaltender Cam Goldaibe surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Rustlers.

The loss snuffed out the Rustlers' three-game winning streak.

With the victory, the Icehogs improve to 19-4-4-0 while the Rustlers fall to 12-13-4-0.
