Calgary, AB – Laird Dyck* scored two goals and added an assist as the Pirates extended its winning streak to 10 games with a 5-2 victory over the Hopewell Hurricanes at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Pirates was Rory Heebner* and Shane Steeves* and Matt Dyck* with a goal each. Ryan Hollis* added two assists. Goaltender Rick Windl* picked up the victory for the Pirates giving up two goals.

Scoring for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Jeff Snyder* and Darryl Arnason* each with single strikes. John Doyle* added two assists. Goaltender Mark Flath* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Hopewell Hurricanes.

With the victory, the Pirates improve to 23-3-2-0 while the Hopewell Hurricanes fall to 13-12-3-0.
