Calgary, AB – Nik Cooper* scored a hat-trick as the Icecats extended its winning streak to three games with a 8-3 throttling over the Wolves at Frank McCool on Friday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Icecats was Rob Christensen* and Cam Fink* with a pair of goals each and Mark Sproxton* with a single marker. Shawn Morgan* added four assists, Kelly Stoodley* added three assists and Sproxton* added two assists. Goaltender Larry Guilloux* picked up the win for the Icecats giving up 0 goals.

Cashing in for the Wolves was Ryan Bennato*, Trevor Sorge* and Rob Conrad* each adding single tallies. Jason Gouw* added two assists. Goaltender Nathan Steinke* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Wolves.

With the win, the Icecats improve to 19-6-2-0 while the Wolves fall to 11-13-4-0.
