Calgary, AB – Matt Dyck* scored his ninth goal of the season with 3:20 remaining in the third period and Scott Atkinson* scored two goals and added an assist as the Pirates extended their winning streak to nine games with a 6-5 triumph over the Divestco Knights at Frank McCool on Tuesday.

Completing the scoring for for the Pirates was Shane Steeves* and Darryl Lewis* chipping in with a goal each. Rick Windl* added three assists. Goaltender Rick Windl* picked up the victory for the Pirates giving up five goals.

Finding the twine for the Divestco Knights was Derek Boeckx*, Rob Anderson*, Andy Williamson*, Dan Sturko* and Jason Nycz* chipping in with singles. Howard Brekke* added two assists. Goaltender Trevor Sedgwick* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Divestco Knights.

With the victory, the Pirates improve to 22-3-2-0 while the Divestco Knights fall to 9-8-10-0.
