Calgary, AB – D Madsen scored a hat-trick to lift the Warthogs to a 7-5 conquest over the St. Vladimir�s at Frank McCool on Tuesday.

Capping off the scoring for the Warthogs was Kyle Shima* with two goals, Nick Hryhor* and Gerry Andries* each adding single tallies. Troy Ferguson added three assists and Bil Schwalm* added two assists. Goaltender Chris Lowe picked up the win for the Warthogs giving up 0 goals.

The victory extinguished the Warthogs' three-game losing streak.

Cashing in for the St. Vladimir�s was Wade Campbell* with two goals and Todd Stefiuk*, Stephen Fodchuk* and Ray Boykiw* contributing with a goal each. Kyle Mack* added three assists and Stefiuk* added two assists. Goaltender Dave Ewanchyna* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the St. Vladimir�s.

The loss snuffed out the St. Vladimir�s' three-game winning streak.

With the win, the Warthogs improve to 12-11-3-0 while the St. Vladimir�s fall to 18-4-4-0.
