Calgary, AB – Mat Jones* scored his 13th goal of the season with 0:59 remaining in the third period and Trevor Sorge* scored a hat-trick to help fuel the Wolves to a 6-5 win over the Icehogs at Optimist on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Wolves was Travis Hodges*, Jason Gouw* with a goal each. Jon Haberstock* added three assists, Hodges* and Jeremy Omelchuk* each added two assists. Goaltender Nathan Steinke* picked up the win for the Wolves giving up 0 goals.

Striking for the Icehogs was Kevin Free* and Mike Tanton* with a pair of goals each and Jeff Shesky* with a single marker. Ashley Raabis* and Derrick Moore* each added two assists. Goaltender Jody Stevens* surrendered six goals in the loss for the Icehogs.

The loss snuffed out the Icehogs' four-game winning streak.

With the win, the Wolves improve to 11-11-4-0 while the Icehogs fall to 17-4-3-0.
