Calgary, AB – Aaron Yamniuk* scored a hat-trick including his 26th goal of the season with 13:02 remaining in the third period and and added an assist to help fuel the Thunder to a 5-4 win over the Vista Rangers at Optimist on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Thunder was Tim Arnett* and Dave Morris* with a goal each. Chris Gibson* and Jesse Feniuk each added two assists. Goaltender Leo Thoms* picked up the win for the Thunder giving up four goals.

Striking for the Vista Rangers was Lane Montgomery* with two goals and Ken Staniforth* and Kyle Calmusky* chipping in with a goal each. Mike Hanson* added two assists. Goaltender Clark Damer* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Vista Rangers.

With the win, the Thunder improve to 7-15-2-0 while the Vista Rangers fall to 3-21-0-0.
