Calgary, AB – Tom Mullane scored his fifth goal of the season with 7:13 remaining in the third period and Daryl Zachary scored a goal and added two assists to lead the Old Time Flyers to a 5-4 triumph over the Melrose at Optimist on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Old Time Flyers was Peter Huff, Kevin Murray, Frank Lyall chipping in with a goal each. Bob Knight. Goaltender Alan Mountain picked up the victory for the Old Time Flyers giving up 0 goals.

The win snapped the Old Time Flyers' three-game losing skid.

Finding the twine for the Melrose was Dustin Leskosky, Colin Pekrul, Mike Hill and Jay Brown each tallying single markers. Chris Trudel added two assists. Goaltender Al Manz surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Melrose.

With the victory, the Old Time Flyers improve to 3-8-1-0 while the Melrose fall to 5-8-0-0.
