Calgary, AB – Chris Mele* scored a hat-trick and added two assists to help bring the FLQ to an 11-8 triumph over the Vista Rangers at Frank McCool on Friday.

Completing the scoring for for the FLQ was Rick Remenda* with a hat-trick, Dave Scott* with two goals, Kevin Scott* and Steve Moss and Jason Nail* chipping in with a goal each. Mike Taillon* added four assists, Scott*, Mike Smillie*. Goaltender Glenn Black* picked up the victory for the FLQ giving up 0 goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Vista Rangers was Olin Penna with a hat-trick and Darrin Krueger*, Jason Skehar*, Kyle Calmusky*, Jeb Davis* and Ron Pelzner chipping in with singles. Krueger* added four assists and Shawn Baxter* added two assists. Goaltender Clark Damer* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Vista Rangers.

With the victory, the FLQ improve to 8-9-3-0 while the Vista Rangers fall to 2-18-0-0.
