Calgary, AB – Mike Prins* scored two goals and added an assist to guide the Chevron to a 7-3 throttling over the Hopewell Hurricanes at Norma Bush on Tuesday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Chevron was Tim Begalke* and Chris Mazerolle*, Rick Cooke*, Andy Ketchin* and Scott Sharp* chipping in with a goal each. Begalke* and Jason Graham* each added two assists. Goaltender Darrell Gall* picked up the win for the Chevron giving up 0 goals.

Cashing in for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Paul Taylor* with two goals and Doug Pickell* with a single tally. Pickell* and Steve Griffin* each added two assists. Goaltender Mark Flath* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Hopewell Hurricanes.

With the win, the Chevron improve to 6-7-4-0 while the Hopewell Hurricanes fall to 8-8-1-0.
