Calgary, AB – James Cuming scored a hat-trick and added three assists to fuel the Icecats to an 8-4 thrashing over the Blades at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the Icecats was Shawn Morgan and Nik Cooper with a pair of goals each and Doug Howland with a single marker. Morgan and Cooper each added two assists. Goaltender Larry Guilloux picked up the win for the Icecats giving up 0 goals.

Finding the twine for the Blades was Ian Stang with a hat-trick and Dale Kindlein with a single tally. Kindlein, Colin Dyck and Jason Johnson each added two assists. Goaltender Geoff Wiltshire surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Blades.

With the win, the Icecats improve to 7-4-2-0 while the Blades fall to 5-7-1-0.
