Calgary, AB – Kelly Stoodley* scored his first goal of the season with 4:40 remaining in the third period and Nik Cooper* scored two goals to help bring the Icecats to a 6-5 triumph over the Rustlers at Optimist on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Icecats was Reggie Lang* and Cam Bowles*, Mark Sproxton* chipping in with singles. T Syvret, Rob Christensen* and Tyson McDonald* each added two assists. Goaltender Larry Guilloux* picked up the victory for the Icecats giving up 0 goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Rustlers was Kevin Leonard* with two goals and Brad Hart*, Ian Mills* and Mark Mills each contributing with single markers. Hart*, Mills* and Matt Magoreeth each added two assists. Goaltender Cam Goldaibe surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Rustlers.

With the victory, the Icecats improve to 10-6-1-0 while the Rustlers fall to 6-8-3-0.
