Calgary, AB – Dave Morris* scored his seventh goal of the season with 2:38 remaining in the third period and Aaron Yamniuk* scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help support the Thunder in a 7-6 victory over the Flying Hellfish at George Blundun on Saturday.

Adding markers for the Thunder was Jody Nelson* . Brad Haley* added three assists, Darren Jones* and Chris Gibson* each added two assists. Goaltender Leo Thoms* picked up the victory for the Thunder giving up six goals.

The victory extinguished the Thunder's six-game losing streak.

Providing the offence for the Flying Hellfish was Brett Oliver*, Ricky Glenn*, Ryan Hoover*, Jeff Wong*, Jeff Wareham* and Allan Myette* each with single strikes. Glenn*, Oliver* and Brett Smith* each added two assists. Goaltender Cam Corbett* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Flying Hellfish.

The loss snuffed out the Flying Hellfish's five-game winning streak.

With the victory, the Thunder improve to 4-10-2-0 while the Flying Hellfish fall to 11-4-1-0.
