Calgary, AB – Martin Carter* scored a hat-trick to lift the Hopewell Hurricanes to a 7-4 conquest over the Divestco Knights at Optimist on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Trevor Hunt* and Doug Pickell*, Brent Snyder* and Austin Dennis contributing with a goal each. Jeff Snyder* and Aaron Cowley* each added two assists. Goaltender Mark Flath* picked up the win for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up 0 goals.

Sniping for the Divestco Knights was Howard Brekke*, Bryce Davis*, Jason Nycz* and Dan Sturko* each tallying single markers. Brekke* and Davis* each added two assists. Goaltender Mark Watson* surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Divestco Knights.

With the win, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 7-7-1-0 while the Divestco Knights fall to 3-5-7-0.
