Calgary, AB – Derrick Moore scored a hat-trick and added an assist to lead the Icehogs to an 11-2 whipping over the Fat n Lazy at Southland on Monday.

Completing the scoring for for the Icehogs was Chris Kemp with a hat-trick, Dave White with two goals, Mike Tanton and Todd McAleese and Brad Watts chipping in with singles. Kevin Free added four assists, Tanton and Don Campbell each added three assists, Brent Gosselin and Tim Moll each added two assists. Goaltender Jody Stevens picked up the victory for the Icehogs giving up two goals.

Finding the twine for the Fat n Lazy was Brad Vescarelli and Cory Whittingham chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Grant Dreger surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Fat n Lazy.

With the victory, the Icehogs improve to 11-0-2-0 while the Fat n Lazy fall to 2-10-0-0.
