Calgary, AB – Neelan Edbom scored his fourth goal of the season with 5:45 remaining in the third period and Jason Konoff scored two goals to help support the Melrose in a 5-4 victory over the Chevron at Optimist on Saturday.

Adding markers for the Melrose was Mike Bukatka, Dave Karpuk with a goal each. Dustin Leskosky added three assists. Goaltender Al Manz picked up the victory for the Melrose giving up 0 goals.

Providing the offence for the Chevron was Jason Graham, Chris Mazerolle, Mike Eleftheriou and Greg Deuchar each with single strikes. Goaltender Brad Thompson surrendered five goals in the loss for the Chevron.

With the victory, the Melrose improve to 5-7-0-0 while the Chevron fall to 5-6-1-0.
