Lumsden nets hat-trick, Tigers prevail over Hopewell Hurricanes
Calgary, AB – Noel Lumsden scored a hat-trick to help support the Tigers in an 8-6 victory over the Hopewell Hurricanes at Norma Bush on Saturday.
Adding markers for the Tigers was Trevor Burke and Dave Latiff* with a pair of goals each and Devin Wagner* with a single tally. Burke, Tristan Janusc, Will Hotomanie* and Ashley Johnson each added two assists. Goaltender Todd Bettison* picked up the victory for the Tigers giving up 0 goals.
Providing the offence for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Paul Taylor* with four strikes and Steve Nemeth and Jeff Snyder* each with single strikes. Brent Snyder* added two assists. Goaltender Mark Flath* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Hopewell Hurricanes.
With the victory, the Tigers improve to 7-4-2-0 while the Hopewell Hurricanes fall to 6-6-1-0.
