Calgary, AB – Mike Ross(*) scored two goals and added an assist to help bring the Chiefs to a 5-1 route over the Wolves at Ernie Starr on Sunday.
Completing the scoring for for the Chiefs was Brian Sherbin with two goals and Steve Kolber(*) with a single tally. Jamie Lorenz (*), Shawn Dyck(*) and Bruce Willis each added two assists. Goaltender Blaine MacKeil (*) picked up the victory for the Chiefs holding the Wolves to a single goal.
The victory extinguished the Chiefs' four-game losing streak.
Tallying the only goal for the Wolves was and Ryan Bennato*, his 19th of the season. Goaltender Nathan Steinke* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Wolves.
The loss snuffed out the Wolves' three-game winning streak.
With the victory, the Chiefs improve to 2-9-2-0 while the Wolves fall to 5-7-1-0.
