Calgary, AB – Rick Remenda* scored four goals and added two assists to help bring the FLQ to an 8-5 triumph over the Thunder at Frank McCool on Friday.

Completing the scoring for for the FLQ was Chris Garland* with two goals, Jason Nail* and Dave Scott* chipping in with singles. Garland* added four assists, Remenda* and Nail* each added two assists. Goaltender Glenn Black* picked up the victory for the FLQ giving up 0 goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Thunder was Darryl Martin*, Dale Martin*, Aaron Yamniuk*, T Louis and Cory Fell* chipping in with a goal each. Tim Arnett* added two assists. Goaltender Leo Thoms* surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Thunder.

With the victory, the FLQ improve to 5-5-2-0 while the Thunder fall to 3-6-2-0.
