Calgary, AB – Jason Nail scored two goals and added two assists as the Calgary Storm extended their winning streak to three games with a 7-5 win over the Hopewell Hurricanes at Village Square on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Calgary Storm was Oliver Fisher and Rick Remenda with a pair of goals each and Kevin Scott with a single tally. Tony Lucas added three assists, Nail and Mike Smillie each added two assists. Goaltender Dave Scott (Goal) picked up the win for the Calgary Storm giving up 0 goals.

Striking for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Doug Pickell with a hat-trick and Brent Fleming and Jason Downey chipping in with a goal each. Corey Zahn added two assists. Goaltender Mark Flath surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Hopewell Hurricanes.

With the win, the Calgary Storm improve to 9-3-0-0 while the Hopewell Hurricanes fall to 5-7-0-0.
