Calgary, AB – Rick Stelmachuk* scored a goal and added an assist for the Chevron and Aaron Cowley* scored two goals for the Hopewell Hurricanes as the teams fought to a 6-6 tie at Optimist on Sunday.

Also scoring for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Jeff Snyder*, Ross Keily*, Brent McClocklin* and Doug Pickell* each adding a goal. Snyder* and Steve Griffin* each added three assists and Preston Yachimec* added two assists. Goaltender Mark Flath* surrendered 0 goals in the tie for the Hopewell Hurricanes.

Also scoring for the Chevron was TJ Mikuska*, Jaime St. Louis*, Scott Sharp*, Andy Ketchin* and Ken Jaszan* with a goal each. Goaltender Darrell Gall* gave up 0 goals in the tie for the Chevron.

After the tie, the Chevron have a record of 3-3-4-0 while the Hopewell Hurricanes move to 5-4-1-0.
