Calgary, AB – Garnet Horne* scored two goals and added three assists to help secure the Icemen a victory in a 10-4 trouncing over the BDR Angers at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Icemen was Darcy Frey* with two goals and Sean Jozsa*, Grant Chomiak*, John Givens*, Gord MacLean*, Kevin Kemp* and Greg Coonfer* chipping in with singles. Horne* and Craig McGee* each added three assists, Chad Coyes* and Reynoudt Jalink* each added two assists. Goaltender Travis Copp* picked up the victory for the Icemen giving up 0 goals.

The victory extinguished the Icemen's five-game losing streak.

Finding the back of the net for the BDR Angers was Jason Caldwell* with a hat-trick and Bryan Wright* with a single marker. Goaltender Phil Meloche* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the BDR Angers.

With the victory, the Icemen improve to 1-5-0-0 while the BDR Angers fall to 2-4-0-0.
