Calgary, AB – Paul Sutcliffe (*) scored five goals to help lift the Chiefs to a 7-5 victory over the Wolves at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Chiefs was Dave Wirsta(*) with two goals. Kip Lindsay (*) added four assists and Jay Steele (*) added two assists. Goaltender Blaine MacKeil (*) picked up the victory for the Chiefs giving up 0 goals.

The win snapped the Chiefs' four-game losing skid.

Scoring for the Wolves was Brent Conrad* with a hat-trick and Brad Deets* and Jon Haberstock* each adding single goals. Deets* and Lee Morey* each added two assists. Goaltender Nathan Steinke* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Wolves.

With the victory, the Chiefs improve to 1-4-0-0 while the Wolves fall to 2-3-1-0.
