Calgary, AB – Clint Black scored his 15th goal of the season with 6:40 remaining in the third period and Brad Rourke scored a goal and added two assists to lift the Warthogs to a 6-5 conquest over the Thunder at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the Warthogs was D Madsen, Blair Whitford*, Bil Schwalm*, Kurt Soost* contributing with a goal each. Madsen. Goaltender Mike Nyhus* picked up the win for the Warthogs giving up 0 goals.

Sniping for the Thunder was Darryl Martin* with two goals and Jody Nelson*, Rob Bulmer* and Dale Martin* each tallying single markers. Martin*, Tim Arnett* and Chris Gibson* each added two assists. Goaltender Leo Thoms* surrendered six goals in the loss for the Thunder.

With the win, the Warthogs improve to 3-0-1-0 while the Thunder fall to 1-2-1-0.
