Calgary, AB – Dale Martin scored a hat-trick and added two assists as the Thunder extended its winning streak to four games with a 10-7 conquest over the Melrose at Norma Bush on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Thunder was Dave Morris and Greg Varga with a pair of goals each and Aaron Yamniuk, Brad Haley and Darren Jones chipping in with a goal each. Yamniuk added three assists, Haley, Allan Bianchini, Cory Fell. Goaltender Leo Thoms picked up the win for the Thunder giving up seven goals.

Cashing in for the Melrose was Mike Hill and Dave Quinn with a pair of goals each, Mike Bukatka, Simon DiMarzo and Werner Gartner each adding single tallies. Hill added four assists. Goaltender Al Manz surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Melrose.

With the win, the Thunder improve to 9-2-0-0 while the Melrose fall to 4-7-0-0.
