Calgary, AB – Aaron Cowley* scored two goals and added an assist to help fuel the Hopewell Hurricanes to a 6-2 pounding over the Chevron at Stew Hendry on Thursday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Jeff Snyder* and John Doyle*, Brent Snyder* and Doug Pickell* with a goal each. Snyder* and Brent McClocklin* each added two assists. Goaltender Travis Tuchscherer picked up the win for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up two goals.

Striking for the Chevron was Rick Stelmachuk* and TJ Mikuska* chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Darrell Gall* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Chevron.

With the win, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 2-1-0-0 while the Chevron fall to 1-1-1-0.
