Calgary, AB – Derrick Moore* scored five goals and added an assist as the Icehogs extended its winning streak to three games with a 13-5 clobbering over the Chiefs at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Also scoring for the Icehogs was Kevin Free* with a hat-trick, Don Campbell and Ashley Raabis* with a pair of goals each and Shawn Foster* with a single tally. Mike Tanton* added five assists, Free* and Blaine Dobinson* each added four assists, Campbell and Bill Stait* each added three assists. Goaltender Jody Stevens* picked up the win for the Icehogs giving up five goals.

Striking for the Chiefs was Brent Breeze (*) with two goals and Tom Smith (*), Jamie Lorenz (*) and Dave Wirsta(*) each adding a goal. Bill Sowa (*) and Chris Budra (*) each added two assists. Goaltender Blaine MacKeil (*) surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Chiefs.

With the win, the Icehogs improve to 3-0-0-0 while the Chiefs fall to 0-3-0-0.
