Calgary, AB – Ioan Matthews* scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help fuel the Anchor Concrete Bobcats to a 10-1 pounding over the BDR Angers at Stew Hendry on Thursday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Anchor Concrete Bobcats was Brian Bieche* and Sheldon Thiessen* with a pair of goals each and Bob Storrs*, J Heer and Jim Gillies* with a goal each. Dave Brown* added three assists, Steve Martin* and Brent Hooey* each added two assists. Goaltender Dylan Lowry* picked up the win for the Anchor Concrete Bobcats holding the BDR Angers to a single goal.

Scoring the single strike for the BDR Angers was and Marty Holzinger*, his first of the season. Goaltender Phil Meloche* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the BDR Angers.

With the win, the Anchor Concrete Bobcats improve to 2-0-0-0 while the BDR Angers fall to 0-2-0-0.
