Calgary, AB – Brent McClocklin* scored two goals and added an assist to lead the Hopewell Hurricanes to a 7-5 triumph over the Divestco Knights at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Andy Keats* and Trevor Hunt*, Aaron Cowley*, Jeff Snyder* and Paul Taylor* chipping in with a goal each. Keats* and Hunt* each added three assists and Martin Carter* added two assists. Goaltender Mark Flath* picked up the victory for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up 0 goals.

Finding the twine for the Divestco Knights was Cam Fehr*, Bryce Davis*, Marc Houle*, Tom Podivinsky* and Terry Barnhart* chipping in with singles. Goaltender Trevor Sedgwick* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Divestco Knights.

With the victory, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 1-0-0-0 while the Divestco Knights fall to 0-1-0-0.
