Calgary, AB – Aaron Yamniuk scored two goals and added an assist as the Thunder extended its winning streak to three games with a 5-1 pounding over the Chevron at Optimist on Saturday.

Adding markers for the Thunder was Chris Gibson and Gary Bianchini and J Thoms each adding single goals. Gibson added three assists, Greg Varga and Allan Bianchini each added two assists. Goaltender Leo Thoms picked up the victory for the Thunder holding the Chevron to a single goal.

Scoring the only marker for the Chevron was and Tim Begalke, his third of the season. Goaltender Bill Boxsee surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Chevron.

With the victory, the Thunder improve to 8-2-0-0 while the Chevron fall to 4-5-1-0.
