Calgary, AB – Jarrod Beztilny* scored his 48th goal of the season with 0:08 remaining in the third period and Scott Sharp* scored a goal and added two assists to lead the Chevron to a 6-5 triumph over the Hopewell Hurricanes at Norma Bush on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Chevron was Rick Cooke*, Jason Graham*, Ken Jaszan*, Tim Begalke* chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Darrell Gall* picked up the victory for the Chevron giving up 0 goals.

The win snapped the Chevron's three-game losing skid.

Finding the back of the net for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Trevor Hunt*, Brent McClocklin*, John Doyle*, Jason Downey* and Martin Carter* chipping in with singles. Rob McNaughton* and Doug Pickell* each added two assists. Goaltender Mark Flath* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Hopewell Hurricanes.

With the victory, the Chevron improve to 17-13-1-0 while the Hopewell Hurricanes fall to 15-13-2-0.
