Wolves and BDR Angers battle to draw
Calgary, AB – Mat Jones scored two goals for the Wolves and Marty Holzinger scored two goals for the BDR Angers as the teams fought to a 5-5 tie at George Blundun on Saturday.
Rounding out the scoring for the BDR Angers was Wally Fizer, Jeff Patrick and Dave Lamontagne chipping in with a goal each. Jon Steranko added two assists. Goaltender Dave Stewart surrendered five goals in the tie for the BDR Angers.
Rounding out the scoring for the Wolves was Brent Conrad and Noel Macri with a single tally. Macri added three assists, Jeremy Omelchuk and Jon Haberstock each added two assists. Goaltender Chad McCrady gave up 0 goals in the tie for the Wolves.
After the tie, the Wolves have a record of 7-1-1-0 while the BDR Angers move to 3-2-4-0.
