Calgary, AB – Jacob Leicht scored a hat-trick and added an assist to spark the Icemen to a 9-4 pummeling over the Schooners at Optimist on Sunday.

Also scoring for the Icemen was Cayden Shmyr with two goals, Rich Bush and Aaron Pepin, Todd Ashton and Matt Kanters each adding a goal. Alex Ponich added three assists, Shmyr, Bush, Evan Michalchuk, Mitch Chartrand and Steve Price each added two assists. Goaltender Todd Ashton picked up the win for the Icemen giving up four goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Schooners was Travis Robichaud, Danny White, Braden Park and Joshua Schafer each adding single goals. Robichaud, Josh Herrick and Nick Behrend each added two assists. Goaltender Brad Lowe surrendered nine goals in the loss for the Schooners.

With the win, the Icemen improve to 16-10-1-0 while the Schooners fall to 12-14-1-0.
