Calgary, AB – Kevin Walrod scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help secure the Bears a victory in an 11-8 victory over the Goats at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Bears was Pierre Girard with a hat-trick, Nic Nolet and Samuel Coyne with a pair of goals each and Troy Miller with a single marker. Ben Gazdic and Dustin Gilbert each added four assists, Coyne and Nolet each added three assists and Curtis De Bruyn added two assists. Goaltender Scott Bowles picked up the victory for the Bears giving up eight goals.

Providing the offence for the Goats was Dane Bennett-Nimijean with a hat-trick, Zach Carter and Aidan Board with a pair of goals each and Jarod Domingo with a single tally. Scott Annesley and Quinn Yule each added three assists, Carter and Board each added two assists. Goaltender Zee Hamilton surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the Goats.

With the victory, the Bears improve to 22-4-1-0 while the Goats fall to 6-20-1-0.
