Calgary, AB – Carson Taylor scored a hat-trick and added an assist to guide the San Jose Sharts to a 12-7 throttling over The Herd at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the San Jose Sharts was Matthew Koch with a hat-trick, Matthew Myatt with a hat-trick, Robert Anhorn and Zackery Dubiel and Ethan Hayter each adding single tallies. Michael Klacmera added four assists, Anhorn and Ethan Coventry each added three assists and Ty Grisdale added two assists. Goaltender Jonathan La Rose picked up the win for the San Jose Sharts giving up seven goals.

Cashing in for The Herd was Kyle Harrison with a hat-trick, Owen Guenter with two goals and Nic Lush and Devin Barlow chipping in with a goal each. Guenter added three assists, Bryan Weber and Ethan Trampuh each added two assists. Goaltender Devin Reagan surrendered 12 goals in the loss for The Herd.

With the win, the San Jose Sharts improve to 9-14-4-0 while The Herd fall to 7-18-2-0.
